My goals for my paper is to talk about beauty through people and to express how social media and magazines are lying about what true beauty really is.Younger generations look up to these girl and think in order to be considered beautiful you must look just like those models. Those models have been photoshopped, airbrushed, edited to look thinner and completely touched up. People need to realize that that is not real beauty. Real beauty consists of flaws and having imperfections. It is okay if you are not a size extra small or if you have acne because beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. Photoshop should not be covering up models true self whether it is a tattoo or stretch marks. Some majors goals I need to work on is to properly cite and format my paper. Also to make sure my claims and transitions connect to my thesis. To do this I will use the helpful technique we did with our last paper where we highlighted our claim sentences and our main points to make sure they are strong and supportive in the text. To make sure my citations are good I will use the Little Seagull handbook and see the citation page. My biggest challenge in my paper is connecting sense drive with the main topic of my paper. I need to figure out a way that these drives will connect with the flow of my paper. If any challenges come up that are to difficult for me to solve I will ask my group that helped me peer review my paper. I will just email them and ask for their opinions and I also could ask my professor.
