When writing this essay I plan on using linguistic, visual and audio for my modes of communication. In my paper I want to talk about how our society views beauty and how every person is beautiful in their owns ways. I will address how our society looks at beauty as someone who is perfect and does not have any flaws. People might think you need to look a certain way to be considered beautiful but that is not true at all. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes and beauty does not mean you have to be perfect. Younger generations are exposed to social media and it has a big impact on their opinions on what you should look like if you want to be beautiful. Having young girls realize that you don’t have to look a certain way or look like those celebrities on social media is very important. Having flaws and not being perfect is beautiful in your own ways. I want to add videos and audio of different girls who are models or a big role model that are not perfect and are not the typical models you would expect to see. These are the type of girls that are real and a better role model for younger girls to look at because they are realistic.

I am having trouble connecting one of my classmates “Let’s Talk About Art” projects to my essay because no one did a presentation on beauty of people. I am thinking I could connect Taylors presentation about tattoos to my paper. There is a model named Jane Moseley who has tattoos and she talks about how a lot of people didn’t want to do photo shoots with her because she has tattoos. Jane’s tattoos are very meaningful and she thinks they help embrace her beauty even more. I am going to add an article about Jane’s story in my paper. https://www.thecut.com/2017/03/jane-moseley-model-interview.html
